How to track in real-time
Tags
Vehicles, such as cars, trucks or machineries are fitted with industrial-grade Dimension4 tracking tags that receive power directly from the vehicle or with long, multi-year life batteries. Tags transmit their location to within 1 metre (3 feet) using ultra-wideband signals for indoor spaces or GPS outdoors to within 5 metres (9 feet). Tags are robust rated at IP69k for ingress protection against water and dust, giving long-term reliable performance, rain or shine.

Sensors
Dimension4 sensors are placed across indoor areas giving complete coverage where normal GPS signals are not received. A combination of Omni (ceiling mounted) and Directional (wall mounted) sensors are available to fit the environment and keep infrastructure costs low.

Software
A three dimensional model of the facility is created in software with spaces easily defined to represent the location of every vehicle and their status. Vehicle locations are recorded in real-time with ‘snap-to-space’ neatly depicting actual vehicle location relative to the environment. Integrations with existing packaged or bespoke systems means information is consolidated in one place with easy to use maps, and configurable searches, alerts and automations.
